POOR
ROBIN
The north wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will the robin do then, poor thing?
He'll sit in the barn,
To keep him-self warm,
And hide his head under his wing, poor thing.

DOCTOR
FOSTER
Doctor Foster went to Gloster
In a shower of rain;
He stepped in a puddle up to his middle,
And never went there again.
Cor! Isn't he lucky. I wish I could get all wet like
that!.---SEB

I LOVE
LITTLE PUSSY
I love little pussy
Her coat is so warm,
And if I don't hurt her,
She'll do me no harm.
So I'll not pull her tail,
Or drive her away.
But pussy and I
Very gently will play.
She will sit by my side,
And I'll give her her food,
And she'll like me because
I am gentle and good.
OOH! Isn't she a lovely little moggy?. Just like our
Simone.

DING DONG
BELL
Ding dong bell:
Pussy in the well.
Who put her in?
Little Tommy Thin,
Who pulled her out?
Little Tommy Stout.
What a naughty boy was that
To drown a poor pussy cat
Who ne'er did any harm,
But killed all the mice in Father's barn.
EE, you can't do that to a poor little moggy!. It
would be smashing for me, I would get all soaking wet and be happy, but cats
don't like water.

By Gum, now we come to the good bit, I do like my
cup of tea!-------
POLLY
PUT THE KETTLE ON
Polly put the kettle on,
Polly put the kettle on,
Polly put the kettle on,
We'll all have tea.
Sukey take it off again,
Sukey take it off again,
Sukey take it off again,
They've all gone away.
But be sure it's "YORKSHIRE TEA". EE, it makes your
hair curl, unles you are like me, I have a corrugated head!

JACK A
NORY
I'll tell you a story
About Jack a Nory,
And now my story's begun;
I'll tell you another
About Jack and his brother,
And now my story's done.
EE, I think that's right daft!---SEB
HEY
DIDDLE DIDDLE
Hey, diddle diddle!
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon;
The little dog laughed
To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.
Did you know that it was a Yorkshire cow?. She was
called Daisy, and she was the first cow in space.
Owt the Yankies can do, us Yorkies can do first!!!---SEB

JACK AND
JILL
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water;
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after.
EE Ek! all the water went over him. What a way to
get a wash.---SEB

PUNCH
AND JUDY
Punch and Judy
Fought for a pie;
Punch gave Judy
A knock in the eye.
Says Punch to Judy;
"Will you have more?"
Says Judy to Punch;
"My eye is too sore."
He's a right clumsy hoit that Punch, isn't he?.---

LITTLE
ROBIN REDBREAST
Little Robin Redbreast sat upon a tree;
Up went pussy-cat, and down went he,
Down came pussy-cat, and away Robin ran;
Says little Robin Redbreast: "Catch me if you can."
By Gum, not even our Simone could catch that bird.
She's like a little rocket!---SEB
