Sebastian Of York - or Seb as he is known to his friends, is a little knitted, wooly gentleman - or rather teddy bear - who lives in a quiet seaside resort in the north east of England ------
------ He has lots of teddy bear friends, including Gie his best pal, who
is also known as UWAG, which stands for Uncle Wise And Grand. He is the oldest
and wisest in the "Hug"
Seb says that Gie is "Long in the tooth" which is a Yorkshire way of saying he
is older and craftier than most. But Gie says that he can't be, because he has
no teeth!
Stefan is also one of his best friends. He is a little German teddy bear
who wears a pilot's outfit and loves flying, the only trouble is that he always
lands upside down!
He has been in the Hug since he left his home near Lake Tittersee, and he speaks
very good English with just a hint of an accent.
Blanche is a sweet little girl teddy bear who loves to get dressed up in
fine clothes.
Everyone loves Blanche, she is the only girl in the Hug. The other teddys look
after her, but there is really no need to she can certainly look after herself!
She likes the other teddys to do things for her, it makes her happy and she
always thanks them very much.

- "If you get mucky you must have a wash!"

- "I fall in "accidentally" and get mud and clart all over!"
